NJ based Christine Martucci Band (“CMB”) returns to Mexicali Blues on May 10th to follow up their December 2007 powerhouse show. There is a reason why this band was nominated for multiple Asbury Park Music Awards and won the prestigious 2007 “Album Of The Year” and Ms. Martucci won the “Top Female Vocalist” at the 2004 awards. This band is no doubt the hottest original band in NJ and their CD titled “I’m All In” was selected as the Editor’s Pick in multiple National magazines. Their songs as well as stage presence will have you singing along in no time
GT has gone down countless roads, burst several hundred blood vessels, stormed the gates of heaven and sustained inestimable loss during its 14 years as a band (yikes!). Having toured with the late great Vince Welnick of The Grateful Dead for many years, Gent Treadly continues to carry the flame - a diehard acolyte in search of the ultimate groove.
Whether he’s playing a club around his Boston home base or a big stage at the Gathering of the Vibes or the High Sierra Music Festival, the young leader of the Ryan Montbleau Band is a one-man antidote for an era of irony. His lyrics about romance, joy, pain and loss care nothing for the barriers of image and style. He is unabashedly romantic, wistful, a soul-searcher looking for the Holy Grails of Love, Virtue and Hope at a time when headlines and the rapid pace of life often make those causes feel lost.
Listen to one track off of Tempus' full-length album, and you'll understand why they named it Got a Good Feeling. Released in 2007, it is the culmination of almost 2 years in the studio, and 5 years of live performances in and around the tri-state area.

Taxi has ridden the highways and byways spinning yarns and delivering high octane music to all who show up at their live shows and consume their 21st century Americana sound. From the bars, clubs and theaters to the main stage of Wakarusa to late night sets at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, up north to the 10,000 Lakes Festival via Summer Camp, and out west to the High Sierra Music Fest, the band has carved out their own territory in a very short time.
The Gibson Brothers - "Truthfully, I'd be recording records every month if we could, because it's such a fun part of what we do," says Leigh Gibson, the slightly younger half of the Gibson Brothers. Sibling Eric shares the enthusiasm: "I like being in the studio just as much as I like being on stage, and I love being on stage."
Quimby Mountain Band, The Brew, Only Living Boy, The Dirty Drop - A great night of music featuring some of the areas up and coming bands. The night also includes The Brew a recent Jamband.com New Groove choice.
